Keeping your neck inline

Rolling into the unknown is all we can ever do – even if we think we know what’s ahead, you see, that’s not ever quite true. As soon as comfy sets and you look ahead to plain sailing and calm seas, that’s exactly when a shark rears its head and brings you to your knees. The very thing you feel is waiting for you in a horizon of hazy sky, the thing you feel will make you whole, that’s the thing that will make you cry. But despair do not and continue to reach but with a gentle current of knowing, that completion can’t be found from reaching, seeking, adding, meeting a future place a date where you can finally rest and be where you want to be.

A place waits for you, it craves for you to give it your attention. A place of full and wholeness a place of true contentment. It follows you around while you scamper from place to place on your great chase to add more and more. In humbleness it makes no sound for being continually ignored, but faithfully remains patiently as it waits with open doors. As it ever graced you in a all encompassing embrace – do you know the feeling of still and calm, have you had a glimpse of where your entire being could face?

Each person you meet, you need not compete for it actually takes you further from the stillness inside – everyone is just a fellow passenger who can share and enjoy the ride.

So I look inside to see the compass that is set for my so called life – the noise may distract but it need not detach the focus I can bring. The focus to within.
