It’s only taken about thirty years

I don’t want to write, I need to write.

I’ve been writing since the skill was given to me as a small child. A simple gift that has seen me through some dark moments in my life. And I finally feel it’s time, I started a blog.

Whether it has been dear diary moments as a child, filling up stream of consciousness as a teenager, or short stories as an adult, whenever my mood has been unmanageably high or low, it’s writing that has got me through.

Busy mind, busy hands

Busy mind, busy hands

But the human condition is always faced with trials and tribulations and I finally feel it’s about time I shine a light on them, like many have done before, but the way I see them.

I don’t really know where this blog is going to go or what it will be about, and that’s what I like about it. For those that know me personally, you’ll know I’ve had my fair share of challenges in life, as we all do, but you’ll also know that I do my best to overcome them with the resources available to me, so I invite you on this little journey and hope you enjoy the ride.

Whether it be sharing a dark insight on human behaviour, an interesting observation on life or a little bit of humour, I will do my utmost to keep you entertained.

And, hey, if I do manage to make you laugh, cry or fall asleep at your computer, feel free to let me know about it.

Happy reading. Karen
